Recruitment 2021 for Civil Engineers: The National Highways Authority of India
(NHAI) is inviting applications from candidates who have appeared for the
interview (Personality Test) of the Indian Engineering Services (I.E.S)
Examination (Civil), 2020 conducted by UPSC for the 73 posts of Deputy Manager
(Technical) in the Level 10 of the Pay Matrix of the 7th CPC (Pre-revised: Pay

Important Requirements
The following should be ensured by the
applicant:
I MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: On the
closing date of acceptance of the online application, a candidate must possess
a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognised
university/institute.
(ii) MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS: All
applicants must meet the minimum essential qualifications for the position as
well as the other requirements outlined in the advertisement (Job Notification
of NHAI Recruitment 2021). They should make sure that they meet the minimum
requirements for the position before applying. There will be no responses to
inquiries seeking eligibility guidance.
(iii) AGE: Not more than 30 years old as of the advertisement's
closing date. The upper age limit for an announced direct recruitment post is
relaxable according to Government of India guidelines that apply to certain
groups/categories.
iv) ELIGIBILITY TO BOOK A RESERVATION:
a. A candidate will be eligible
for community reservation only if the caste to which he or she belongs is
listed on the Central Government's list of reserved communities.
b. Applicants from the
non-creamy layer (OBC) must submit an OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) certificate issued
between 2021 and 2022.
c.
Furthermore, the OBC
certificate should explicitly state that the candidate does not belong to the
creamy layer as defined by the Government of India for the purpose of applying
for Central Government posts and services.
d. A candidate shall be qualified for the Economically
Weaker Section (EWS) reservation only if he or she fits the Central
Government's criteria and has the required Income & Asset Certificate based
on income for the Financial Year (FY) 2020-2021, which must be granted after
April 1, 2020..

Candidates seeking reservation
as SC/ST/OBC/EWS must produce/submit a certificate in the prescribed proforma
ONLY, from the designated authority, indicating clearly the candidate's caste,
the Act/Order under which the caste is recognised as SC/ST/OBC, and the
Act/Order under which the caste is recognised as SC/ST/OBC. They
must also ensure that the name of their caste/community and its spelling on
their caste/community certificate match those on the central government's
periodically updated lists (for OBC category list of castes recognised by the
Govt. of India as OBC castes in the central list is available on the site
www.ncbc.nic.in, for ST category the list caste for each state is available on
the site www.ncst.nic.in and for SC category the list of castes for each state
is available on the site www.socialjustice.nic.in). Any modification in the
caste name on the certificate would be rejected.
f. Candidates seeking
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD reservation/relaxation benefits must ensure that they are
eligible for such reservation/relaxation as provided in the applicable
Rules/instructions. They should also have all of the required certifications in
the prescribed format in support of their claim, as specified in the applicable
rules/instructions for such benefits, and these certificates should be dated
before the due date, i.e. the online application's closing date.
g. A
candidate for this position may not modify his or her community status after
submitting an online application.
h. The candidates must submit the following
certificate types in order to qualify for reservation under the
SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwBD categories. Applications that are not accompanied by the
above-mentioned valid certificates will be automatically denied.

the position of Deputy Manager (Technical):

Such a certificate may be subject to verification or re-verification at the
Authority's discretion.
Process of Selection
Final
merit (Written Test & Personality Test) in the UPSC-conducted Indian Engineering
Services (I.E.S) Examination (Civil), 2020.
NOTE: The essential qualities listed are the bare minimum; mere
possession of them does not qualify candidates to an interview or appointment.
Procedure for Submitting an Application
a). The
applicant can apply online at the NHAI website, http://www.nhai.gov.in. Google
Chrome or Mozilla Firefox can be used to access it.
b). Select
the tabs About Us, Recruitment Vacancies, and Current Vacancies. Click on the
Deputy Manager (Technical) Online Application advertising.
c). Fill out
the form and include all of the required information.
d). The
following documents must be uploaded: –

Photograph — Scanned copy of colour passport-size photograph in
only 'jpg / jpeg', 'png', or 'gif' image formats with a maximum file size of 1
MB.
·
Signature - Scanned copy of signature in only 'jpg/jpeg', 'png',
or 'gif' image formats with a maximum file size of 1 MB.
·
Class –X Certificate with date of birth in only ‘jpg / ‘jpeg',
‘png', or ‘gif' image types with a maximum size of 1 MB.
·
Caste Certificate in Support of SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS (as per
stipulated format) in only 'jpg / jpeg', 'png', or 'gif' image types not
exceeding 1 MB.
·
Only
‘jpg / ‘jpeg', ‘png', or ‘gif' picture types of less than 1 MB are acceptable
as proof of passing in Civil Engineering.
·
Only
‘jpg / ‘jpeg' or ‘png' or ‘gif' image types not exceeding 1 MB are allowed in
the copy of UPSC Interview Call letter for appearing in interview of I.E.S
Examination 2020 (Civil).

e) Press the 'Next' button.
f) You can see the application preview.
g) There is also a 'Edit' option and a final Submit
button.
h). If the applicant is pleased with the information
provided, click the "Submit" button to submit the online application
form. The online application form must be submitted by November 30, 2021. (6:00
PM).
i). I Following the submission of the Application
Form, a "Unique Reference Number" will be generated automatically,
together with the applicant's details and the topic "Application
Acknowledgement."
j) An automatically created "Application
Acknowledgement" will be delivered to the Applicant's e-mail address.
k). The applicant must keep a copy of the "Application
Acknowledgement" in safe custody for the purpose of producing / submitting
to NHAI along with supporting documents in respect of entries made by the
applicant with regard to his or her date of birth / educational qualification /
SC/ST/OBC/EWS certificate (if applicable)/PwBD certificate/Other supporting
documents (viz. experience certificate, NOC from the employer, etc.) if
applicable.
Important*
1. CANDIDATES ARE ADVISED TO FILL IN THEIR CORRECT AND ACTIVE E-MAIL ADDRESSES IN
THE ONLINE APPLICATION AS THE NHAI WILL ONLY CONTACT THEM VIA E-MAIL. It is
stated that the NHAI does not accept service bond transfers from selected
individuals who are employed by another government agency. As a result, no requests
or inquiries in this regard will be considered.
2.
Applicants are urged to thoroughly complete
the ONLINE application form in accordance with the above-mentioned eligibility
criteria and experience. It should be noted that the entire selection process
will be based on the entries made by the applicant in his or her application
form, and no request for any alteration/modification/change in the entries made
by the applicant in the application form will be entertained under any
circumstances. Note: Candidates are encouraged to submit their Online
Recruitment Application well in advance of the deadline, rather than waiting
until the last minute.
3.
It should be noted that if an applicant
submits numerous applications, NHAI will only evaluate the most recent application
submitted by the applicant, and the entries made therein will be considered in
the recruiting process for the stated post. As a result, the applicant's
previous application(s) is/are being rejected.
4.
The deadline for receiving ONLINE applications
is the most important date for determining eligibility.
5.
SC/ST/Minority Communities/Ladies/PwBD
candidates are strongly encouraged to apply in big numbers.
6. Canvassing or attempting to influence the
election in any way will disqualify the candidate.
7. Applications
received in any other manner will be summarily rejected and will not be
accepted.
8. Any corrections, additions, or cancellations
